A vitamin is an organic molecule that is an essential micronutrient which we need in small quantities for the proper functioning of our metabolism. Essential nutrients cannot be synthesized in our organism, either at all or not in sufficient quantities, and therefore must be obtained through our diet.

Vitamins play a role everywhere in the body for vital processes. Thus, they play a central role in cell protection and our immune system.

There is reason to believe that vitamins A, C and E may have an effect on endometriosis.

Vitamin A ensures normal skin function, supports the formation of immune cells and blood cells, regulates cell growth and normalizes our sex hormones, and could therefore also have a regulatory effect on the growth of endometriosis lesions (more info in the articles)

Vitamin C and Vitamin E, when taken together over a period of 2 months, led to a significant reduction in chronic pain in endometriosis patients, according to a study (see link below).

In principle, the natural intake of vitamins in food is preferable to that from food supplements, since vitamins act in a complex interaction with other trace elements and plant substances.
